Seabourn Ovation Accommodation: Suites

An all-suite ship, Seabourn Ovation offers a choice of seven accommodation categories. All of the suites boast a private balcony and a lavishly appointed ensuite bathroom. As standard, the suites feature a living area, a Queen-size bed (convertible to twin beds on request), an interactive TV/entertainment system, a fully-stocked mini-bar, a dining table, and a large walk-in closet.

Penthouse Spa Suite

With easy access to the spa and daily spa amenities, the Penthouse Spa Suite is well-suited to those seeking a little extra pampering on their Seabourn Ovation cruise. The spa-style bathrooms benefit from two access points and are equipped with a soaking tub and a large shower, while the oversized balcony allows enough space for up to four guests to dine outside.

Signature Suite

Seabourn Ovation’s Signature Suite is resplendent with apartment-style chic and amenities. The two Signature Suites boast up to 977 sq. ft of space in addition to a breathtaking wraparound balcony. The Restaurant

The Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and is the main dining room at Seabourn Ovation. The menu changes daily and often includes a pleasing mixture of international classics alongside more regionally influenced cuisine.

The Patio

The Patio is one of Seabourn Ovation’s informal dining options. Like The Restaurant, It is open for lunch and dinner and offers a menu comprised of light bites such as pizza, salads, pasta, grilled meats, and fish. In addition, the Patio hosts Seabourn’s Earth & Ocean experience in the evening, with inventive dishes served al fresco under the stars.

The Grill by Thomas Keller

Designed in partnership with noted chef and restauranter Thomas Keller, The Grill is exclusive to Seabourn and offers a unique culinary experience based on the classic American steakhouse. Here, you can dine in a stunning setting (designed by Adam D. Tihany) while enjoying a range of mouthwatering dishes, including steak, lobster, and delectable desserts such as coconut cake and premium gelato.

The Colonnade

The Colonnade provides a wide selection of casual dining options. During breakfast and lunch, you can enjoy a selection of buffet and hot plate options. In the evening, The Colonnade transforms into a table-service restaurant, with frequent theme nights influenced by Thomas Keller.

Sushi

Sushi is a dining experience exclusive to Seabourn Ovation and Seabourn Encore. The menu offers a selection of sushi, sashimi and nigiri, all freshly prepared with the majority of the ingredients delivered straight from Japan.

In-suite Dining

For a more private dining experience, you can choose from a menu of dishes and light bites available in the main restaurants and have them served course-by-course in your suite.

Entertainment, Activities & Facilities

Life onboard a Seabourn ship is relaxed, and the facilities available are similar to those found in a boutique hotel. Seabourn Ovation presents various ways to pass the time, giving you the freedom to do as much – or as little – as you like.

During the day

Seabourn Ovation’s social hub is the Seabourn Square, situated on deck 7. An expansive living room-style space, Seabourn Square offers barista-made coffees, comfortable seating and access to the ship’s concierge services. It’s a great place to catch up with friends or sit back and relax with a good book.

Seabourn Ovation’s main pool area is on deck 9. Providing ample sun loungers and seating, you can make the most of the sunshine, keep to the shade or take a dip in the pool or whirlpools. There’s bar service from the nearby Patio Bar, while The Patio is open for snacks and hot meals throughout the day. At the top of the ship is one of the ship’s most exclusive outdoor areas, The Retreat. Limited to just 28 guests, you can reserve a private cabana that comes with a refrigerator and HD television. For a spot of pampering, head to deck 10, where you will find Spa & Wellness. Seabourn has long pioneered the concept of wellness at sea. A partnership with Dr Andrew Weil allows Seabourn to offer a range of holistic treatments and enhances its offering with lectures, meditation sessions and Mind & Body seminars. Alternatively, those looking to keep active will love the Fitness Centre, while the ship’s marina allows for kayaking and other water sports when weather permits.

Seabourn Conversations

The highly acclaimed Seabourn Conversations programme is available on selected sailings for educational enrichment. A refreshing take on the traditional concept of guest speakers, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with noted lecturers and experts as they participate in meal sharing and shore excursions throughout your voyage. The programme features speakers from a diverse range of fields, including explorers, scientists, historians, and performers from the worlds of music and theatre.

When night falls

In the evening, entertainment is available in The Grand Salon. Performances here range from magic shows to Seabourn’s highly praised “An Evening With Time Rice,” featuring renditions of the lyricist’s best-known songs. The Club is also a popular nightspot, with cocktails and dancing to live music. The quieter Observation Bar is a little more low-key. Still, the floor-to-ceiling windows and plush leather seats help provide the perfect environment to enjoy stunning views of moonlit oceans and glittering ports.
